This was one of the most exciting photo missions I've done in a while. The Cape was completely shrouded in fog at dawn- thick pea soup- I thought the shot was going to be a write off. But over the next hour the fog started to thin and I was able to capture this moment as the fog leaves the Tasman Sea for the Pacific. We use the finest EPSON UltraChrome archival inks that have a lightfastness display life of more than 75 years. After printing, the canvas is then hand rolled with a clear semi gloss varnish which allows the print to be wiped clean once hanging and also increases the life of the ink.
