Storm Dodging
Pretty fricken good
That was hectic aye! Ever since Cyclone Gabrielle instead of getting frothed on a weather event I get a little bit anxy. A bit of guilt for doggedly chasing fun [surf] when there’s a high possibility others could be losing livelihoods or worse. I think I think too much. I went chasing but at the forefront of the ol’ noggin was ‘will the roads close, will the roof get blown off the house. Will I be able to get out next week for the King and Queen OF The Point; should I go now?’ I needed to take a chill pill aye, as it turned out Cyclone Vaianu tracked out to the east and largely missed the Coro. Some of the rarities lit up. Friday was super fun head height and perfect. Saturday was bigger but the wind in the morning was more ruffled. I bailed before it cleaned up in the arvo. Here’s my gallery from the 2 days….
