Beached As is simple; it’s an eclectic collection of over 30 of NZ’s favourite beaches captured by one of the most qualified photographers to do so….with contributions from some of his photographic peers. Drawing on the extensive photo library created from his career thus far and re-shooting many beaches over the last year, each beach is portrayed in a way that gives a real sense of place. The idea is to give the reader a real feel of what that beach is like and/or rekindle warm memories of a favourite slice of paradise.
The latitude and longitude are highlighted so that the beach can be viewed on Google Earth or even better; entered into a car’s GPS. Where possible relevant facts about the beach, such as how it was named and what the name means are included. As an extra element well known Kiwis have been invited to add their thoughts about their favourite beaches.
