Craig was NZ Surfing Magazine’s Senior Photographer for 15 years and its Editor’n’Chief for 8. His images have been published and used commercially worldwide. Upon leaving NZSM Photo CPL Media was created.

The first book, aptly named Photo CPL, is a retrospective of Craig’s work over the last 20 years, and it has enjoyed both critical acclaim and commercial success. Hot on its heals; Beached As-Our New Zealand Beaches Vol 1 was released in 2009. Hitting a common thread with all New Zealanders, simply, our favourite stretches of sand, the book once again exceeding all hopes in terms of sales and response. The third book; Beached As- Then and Now stepped everything up a notch, over 2 years in the making Craig retraced the travels of his Auntie Audrey- reproducing her images from 70 years ago- Then and Now has been the most popular and universally lauded project to date. Rest assured there are more books to come.

Photography remains Craig’s burning passion, he uses both analogue and digital cameras today- a lot of the panoramic images are shot on his 6x17 film camera for unsurpassed quality and uses a Wista 4x5 view camera to craft images yielding a 1 gigabyte file for optimal reproduction.
